Torunn Sivesind, MD
Torunn Sivesind, MD is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. She completed her undergraduate studies in biology at Principia College, graduating magna cum laude, followed by post-baccalaureate pre-medical training at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Sivesind earned her medical degree from the University of Queensland School of Medicine through the Ochsner Clinical School program and went on to complete a PGY-1 internship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at LSU School of Medicine. She further advanced her training through a Dermatology Clinical Research Fellowship and dermatology residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
Dr. Sivesind brings a distinctive skill set that combines comprehensive dermatologic surgical training with additional experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery. This background allows her to personalize surgical and procedural care with a focus on preserving form and function while achieving natural, refined results. Her clinical interests include both aesthetically driven procedures and medically necessary surgeries for conditions such as skin cancer, hidradenitis suppurativa, and bothersome or symptomatic growths. Among her procedural specialties are upper eyelid blepharoplasty and tumescent liposuction.
As a fellowship-trained physician and former professional model, Dr. Sivesind has a deep appreciation for the connection between skin health, appearance, and emotional well-being.
